The emotional rollercoaster of Chicken Road in one screenshot (4 views)

I need to share this because my friends don't understand and my therapist is on vacation.
Was playing Chicken Road game tonight. Nothing special, just grinding some small bets. Then I decided to try something new. Dual bet mode with €5 on conservative (1.8x cash out) and €2 on reckless (target 15x).
First few rounds were fine. Nothing exciting. Then this round starts. Cars are coming fast. My conservative bet cashes out automatically at 1.8x. Cool, €9 secured. But my reckless bet is still running. Chicken keeps jumping. 5x. 10x. 12x. I'm screaming "JUST CASH IT" at my monitor but the cars keep missing. 14x. One more lane. 15x hits and thank god I set auto cash out because my brain had completely shut down at this point.
That €2 bet turned into €30. Combined with the €9 from the conservative bet, that round paid €39 on a €7 total stake.
I took a screenshot of the win screen and just stared at it for five minutes. Then I promptly lost the next three rounds chasing that high again. Classic.
The thing about this game that messes with your head is the multiplayer lobby. You see other people winning and you get greedy. You see people losing and you get scared. There's no winning mentally.
Anyway, here's what I've learned after way too many hours:
Use auto cash out. Your impulse control is worse than you think
Dual bet mode is actually brilliant for covering your bases
The demo mode gives you 5000 free credits. Use it before real money
Walk away when you're ahead. I never do this but you might be stronger than me
Minimum bet is €0.10 so you can play for a long time on not much money
Has anyone else tried the dual bet strategy? What targets do you set? I've been doing 1.8x and 8x but wondering if I should adjust.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to explain to my credit card why I've been so interested in chicken recently.
