I’ve been checking out different gyms in Santa Monica recently because my old spot closed down. I’m looking for somewhere clean, well-equipped, and not overly crowded during peak hours.

Some of these gyms are starting to include athletic performance training near me, which sounds like a cool addition. It’s good to see more variety beyond just treadmills and weights.

I’m also tempted to work with a private fitness trainer for a few months to make sure my form is correct and my workouts are structured properly. I feel like that investment could really accelerate my progress.
