Range Rover AC clicking noise then warm air what could it be (4 อ่าน)

I am hoping someone here can give me some guidance before I end up spending a fortune on the wrong repair. I have a 2016 Range Rover Sport and yesterday while driving home from work, I suddenly heard a clicking noise coming from the front passenger side of the dashboard. The noise lasted for maybe ten seconds and then the air coming out of the vents started getting warmer and warmer. Now when I turn on the AC, I can still hear a faint clicking sound every time I adjust the temperature or the fan speed, but the air is just slightly cooler than outside, nowhere near cold enough for this weather. I checked the obvious things like the cabin air filter and the AC fuse, both are fine. The compressor clutch seems to engage when I press the AC button because I can see the center part of the pulley spinning and I hear a slight change in the engine sound. So I am guessing the compressor itself might still be working, at least partially. My worry is that the clicking noise might be coming from a blend door actuator that has failed. From what I have read online, these actuators control which vents the air comes out of and also mix hot and cold air. If an actuator is stuck or broken, it might be preventing the cold air from reaching the cabin even though the AC system is technically working. But I have also read that Range Rovers are known for having leaks in the evaporator core, which is a very expensive job because the entire dashboard has to come out. I am really hoping it is not that. I have been looking for a specialist that knows these cars well because I do not trust regular garages with a Range Rover. I came across a Range Rover AC Trusted Repair Sharjah that seems to have good feedback from other Land Rover owners. Before I take my car anywhere, I want to know if any of you have experienced this exact combination of symptoms, a clicking noise followed by warm air. Was it a simple fix like a recalibration of the HVAC system or replacing a small actuator motor? Or did it turn out to be something major like a leaking evaporator or a failing compressor? Also, is there any way to tell the difference without taking the whole dashboard apart? I am trying to prepare myself mentally and financially for what is coming. If it is a big job, roughly how much should I expect to pay in Sharjah for something like an evaporator replacement on a Range Rover Sport? Any honest advice from someone who has been through this would really help me sleep better at night. Thank you in advance.
