First remove a healthy vine, 4-6 inches long and containing 2-3 nodes. Trim off all the bottom leaves and put a cutting in a jar of clean water so that the nodes are in the water. Place in bright, indirect light and replace water every 5&ndash;7 days, to prevent bacteria buildup. Roots usually appear within 1&ndash;2 weeks. When roots are approximately 2-3 inches long, the cutting can be replanted in soil, where it will continue to grow.
