How to Reach Endgame Gear Score in Aion 2 (3 อ่าน)

25 พ.ค. 2569 15:31

Reaching true endgame Gear Score in Aion 2 is a long grind, but it becomes much easier once you understand how progression is actually structured. A lot of newer players waste huge amounts of Kinah upgrading the wrong gear or chasing small stat increases that barely move their Combat Power.

The reality is that pushing into the 3100–3500+ Gear Score range is less about one lucky drop and more about stacking dozens of systems together over time. Endgame players are constantly improving Transcendence levels, Arcana boards, crafted accessories, passive bonuses, and optimized sub-stats all at once.

If your goal is to reach the highest-tier raids and PvP content, here’s the progression path most players follow.

Starting the Climb: 1400 to 2400 Gear Score

The first major hurdle is building a stable foundation that lets you enter higher-tier content consistently.

At this stage, the biggest mistake players make is over-investing into one weapon or armor piece too early. The smarter approach is to upgrade your gear evenly. Taking every item to +1, then +2, then +3 gives much better value for your resources than pushing a single piece to a high enhancement level.

This is also the point where permanent progression items become extremely important.

Your Noble Belt from Strongholds and Revelation Amulet from Monolith Feathers are especially valuable because they stay relevant for a very long time. Even when most of your early gear gets replaced, these items continue scaling upward through morphing and upgrades.

Once you approach around 1800 Gear Score, most players begin farming Vakron’s Sky Island heavily. This area is considered one of the fastest mid-game progression zones because it bridges the gap between early gearing and real endgame preparation. A few efficient runs here can push your account toward the 2400 range surprisingly quickly.

The Real Grind Begins: 2400 to 2900 Gear Score

Once you hit roughly 2400 GS, progression changes completely.

At this point, random upgrades stop carrying your account. Specialized systems start becoming the main source of power.

One of the biggest systems here is Transcendence. You unlock it earlier, but pushing Transcendence past Phase 9 is where the huge stat gains begin. Players sitting around 2700–2800 GS usually have heavily upgraded Transcendence progression already in place.

Nightmare difficulty content also becomes mandatory during this phase because you need the Ariel Daevanion and Ferocious gear sets. When farming these pieces, the goal is not just obtaining the gear itself. The real value comes from rolling strong offensive traits like damage boost, class scaling bonuses, or high-value combat stats.

Another major jump comes from Arcana Cards.

A lot of players underestimate how powerful the Arcana board actually is. A properly upgraded board filled with gold Arcana cards can add hundreds of Combat Power without changing a single armor piece. Farming Deus Research Base consistently becomes part of the daily routine for many endgame players because of this system alone.

Accessories also start mattering much more here.

By the time you enter the high-end gearing phase, most serious players are pushing accessories to +16 or +17 while filling every slot with Superior Manastones. Offensive stats become the priority:

Weapon Damage Boost

Critical Damage Boost

Attack

Accuracy

These upgrades are expensive, but they scale extremely well into late-game PvE and PvP.

Reaching the True Endgame: 2900 to 3500+ Gear Score

This is the stage where progression becomes extremely resource-heavy.

Most players never fully optimize this tier because every upgrade requires enormous amounts of grinding, rerolling, and gold investment.

The first priority is pushing into Transcendence Level 10. This unlocks access to the highest-end Arcana progression and significantly improves your overall stat ceiling.

At the same time, dedicated groups begin farming the Dramata raid regularly. The 12-player rooms are especially valuable because they provide massive amounts of materials, gold rewards, and top-tier upgrade resources needed for final optimization.

Jewelry progression also changes dramatically here.

Early-game accessories like Kromede rings eventually fall off hard in terms of scaling. Endgame players replace them with Level 60 crafted PvE jewelry. These accessories are incredibly strong once upgraded, but they are also extremely expensive.

Some players level gathering and crafting themselves to make these pieces, while others simply buy them directly from the market for millions of Kinah. Either way, the goal is usually the same: push them straight toward +17 as quickly as possible.

Trait Optimization Is What Separates Good Players from Top Players

A high Gear Score alone does not automatically make a character strong.

Two players can have nearly identical GS values while dealing completely different damage because one player optimized their traits properly and the other did not.

This is why soulbinding and rerolling sub-traits become such a major part of endgame progression.

Most experienced players use duplicate gold items to reroll weaker traits until they land ideal combinations for their class. This process is extremely expensive, but it is what transforms a “high GS character” into a genuinely optimized build capable of competing in top-tier content.

Don’t Ignore Passive Power Systems

One of the biggest traps in Aion 2 is focusing only on visible gear upgrades.

A huge amount of permanent Combat Power actually comes from passive account systems.

Pantheon bonuses are a perfect example. Even lower-quality statues, colossi, and frameworks contribute permanent stats once placed into the Pantheon. Over time, these passive bonuses stack into a massive amount of hidden power.

Daevanion Crystals are another system players often neglect early on.

Using Shugo rewards to buy crystals consistently gives permanent upgrades to your skill boards, and those bonuses continue scaling throughout the entire game. Endgame players rarely skip these purchases because every crystal contributes to long-term account growth.

Reaching endgame Gear Score in Aion 2 is less about rushing one system and more about building your account efficiently across every progression layer.

The players who hit 3500+ Gear Score fastest are usually the ones who:

Upgrade gear evenly instead of gambling resources

Prioritize permanent progression systems early

Farm Arcana boards consistently

Invest heavily into Transcendence progression

Optimize traits and passive bonuses instead of chasing raw GS alone

The grind is definitely long, especially once you move past 2900 GS, but the power spikes become very noticeable once all these systems start working together.
